ABI has always assisted in training programs that offer instructions in home inspection and prepares future inspectors for the licensing process.  Listed below are a few current and past examples. 
  • Workforce Development and Continuing Education

    Workforce Development is a direct, effective, and immediate response to the urgent demands of the current economy and expanding technology. Its primary goal is to provide individuals with the academic, employability, and technical skills needed to increase their access to employment and economic opportunities, and to ensure job retention and career advancement.  ABI inspectors in an effort to assist in this goal is providing trainers in the Roxbury Community College Division of Continuing Education (DCE).  If you are interested in becoming a home inspector or maintaining your license contact RCC at (617) 541-5306.
      

  • First Time Home Buyers

There’s so much to know about buying a house, and the amount of study required can leave a first-time homebuyer’s head spinning. Home inspection is just one facet of the home-buying process.

Fortunately, assistance is available to learn the ins and outs of the home buying process, what to do, what to expect, and what questions to ask. The following community agencies provide training courses for first-time homebuyers to prepare them for the inspection process.
